These are the tomes that came with my printer/scanner. Why so thick? Because they are in all the languages listed on the front cover. The instructions contained in the “Getting Started” manual would have fit in a single page, if it had only been in English.

but this way, when you learn a new language you have literature for that language already with you. Although, I can’t imagine wanting to read a printer manual more than once!
May I suggest the web site in all 64 languages where the detailed information regarding use of said product could be found.
