Buddy Movie
October 2, 2009You’ve all seen at least one buddy movie – Lethal Weapon, Tango & Cash, Beverly Hills Cop, Rush Hour, Turner & Hooch, etc. You know the basic formula – two males are forced together by circumstances out of their control, they don’t like each other or at least one doesn’t like the other, through the course of the movie they overcome their conflict and bond for life.
Here’s our buddy movie. It only took about 4 weeks for the break through to happen.

So I believe my analysis is that Bert is a wise soul. He may lie down like a B kitty, but he is really only setting Oliver up. By looking at the video of Oliver caged and Bert’s response to a clearly hostile situation, he was showing Oliver that he, Bert, had won. Oliver is the tough guy who’s never had a friend so he’s suspicious and needy, while Bert is the sweet one who’s really a tough guy. You can learn so much about people from watching cat interaction, don’t you think? 😉
